Parker + Lynch is seeking a Medical Billing Supervisor with Healthcare experience in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area!  This is a newly created position based on growth. This position is REMOTE, our client is requiring the person to live in New Mexico within a commutable distance for occasional onsite office meetings.  Our client is a specialty therapy healthcare provider.  You will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for oversight of day-to-day activities and billing staff.  Excellent benefits offer.  Target salary is 55k to 65k, annually.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage revenue cycle functions; claims processing, denials, payment, customer service, account follow-up
  • Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of outstanding receivables
  • Research and identify denial trends and collaborate with insurance carriers and coders
  • Verify the accuracy of billing and payment posting
  • Monitor workflow to ensure timely processing.
  • Monitor individual staff performance and perform regular quality assessments.
  • Assign daily work schedules.
  • Implement and teach new and evolving technologies.
  • An ideal candidate will mee the following qualifications:

  • 5 years of medical billing /patient account experience
  • 3 years of team lead or supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of AMA coding guidelines, government and commercial payer regulations, insurance contract analysis, and denial resolution
