Office Accounting Manager:
Privately held company that has been in business over 30 years in downtown St. Louis, looking for an Office Accounting Manager to run the day to day finances and be a liaison to their outside public accounting firm.
Role Responsibilities:
Process AR/AP & communicate with customers and vendors
Process payroll through third party system & manage employee benefits
Control material inventory systems
Create/reconcile purchase orders
Month/year-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, financial statements)
Assist with short and long term budget process
Establish financial performance metrics for company
Help sales staff with commercial bids and manage commercial contracts
Manage incoming/outgoing mail and other administrative duties as needed
HR responsbilities
Special projects as needed
Ideal candidate:
Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree
2+ years of full cycle accounting experience/office bookkeeping
ERP systems experience
Strategic thinker and problem solver
