Parker + Lynch is currently seeking a Planning Analyst for a global client located in Houston. The Analyst will play a key role in the short-range planning process for operations. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the newly formed planning department and help build out the function. It’s a highly visible role working across multiple departments with regular executive presentations.

  • Partner with various department leaders to gather and update forecasts monthly.
  • Prepares statistical data uploads monthly, ensuring reconciliation of data to validate accuracy.
  • Analyze P&L data, identify significant variances and recommend updates to the current plan.
  • Assists in synthesizing Executive Management variance analysis pack.
  • Prepare project NPV and cash-flow analysis in relation to new opportunities, add value by providing finance acumen to the bidding process.
  • Identify and implement planning process improvements and best practices.
  • Participates as a key contributor to the annual budgeting team.
  • Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Excel (Vlookups, NPV, DCF)
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
