Payroll Accountant Job

Parker + Lynch is working with a client in the Mount Laurel, NJ area that is seeking a Payroll Accountant. The Payroll Accountant position will be a duel role with the primary focus being Payroll. The Payroll Accountant will also assist with AP and AR.



Essential Job Functions


  • Process payroll for 300+ employees using ADP. This includes, but is not limited to, all functions required to set up employees in ADP, rate changes, terminations, wage garnishments, employment verifications, PTO and vacation tracking.
  • Provide prescribed ADP reports to various department heads.
  • Prepare payroll journal entries.
  • Process customer invoices, credit memos, and debit memos.
  • Prepare daily sales reporting.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable balances for past-dues and contact customers as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Controller.

    Job Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred
  • ADP experience a MUST
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
