Payroll Analyst

This position is great for someone who enjoys hands-on work but would also like to step into a department lead role.  An ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and a remarkable ability to spot numerical errors efficiently and effectively. This position requires someone with leadership presence, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.


  • Oversee payroll procedures
  • Prepare reports and forecasts for senior management
  • Stay up-to-date on state and federal payroll and tax laws
  • Ensure compliance with all compensation and tax regulations
  • Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses
  • Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes


  • At least 5 years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience working with a time and attendance application, preferably ADP eTime
  • Experience with Canadian payroll and an understanding of applicable laws
  • Running payroll volume of at least 2,000 employees
  • Understanding of reconciliations, garnishments, levies, etc.
  • SAP experience preferred but not required
