Home Health Care organization providing home health aides to private pay clients is hiring an Accounting Coordinator/Accountant/Payroll Coordinator to be responsible for the weekly payroll and accounting work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • More than 50% of role is responsible for their weekly payroll for up to 150 mostly hourly Home Health Aides (they use Paychex)
  • Other responsibilities are paying bills, accounts payable, some A/R, reconciling credit card statements, few collection calls but not many
  • Fairly repetitive work and won’t be producing financial statements, their CPA does that monthly
  • -Will be working in the office, small amount of people

    Software: QuickBooks and Paychex. Some Excel

    Targeting in a Candidate:

  • Open but ideally some payroll experience, needs to be someone who likes doing weekly payroll since it’s such a large part of the role.
  • Prefer if have some payroll or accounting experience
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Adaptable, flexible, willing to learn, good with details, ability to handle and do various and multiple tasks.
  • Non-degreed is fine or bachelor’s degree
  • Ideal if have QuickBooks and/or Paychex experience but not required.
