Our client, a rapidly growing organization is now looking to expand their team by adding a Payroll position within their team! If you can see yourself in this role you will be directing all aspects and overseeing payroll processes and procedures including taxes and finance demands regarding payroll payments, and design short-term and long-term strategies for continuous improvement in payroll operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Management and provide oversight of the day-to-day operations coordinating inputs, processes, and reviews weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls, utilizing the UltiPro HR, Payroll, and Time and Attendance System.
  • Process new hires, employee changes, terminations and benefit administration on ADP Workforce Now.
  • Process multiple monthly and semi-monthly multi-jurisdictional payrolls accurately using ADP Workforce Now to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate resolution with ADP Payroll / benefit representatives / insurance carriers to address any inquiries / requests on an on-going basis.
  • Maintain processes and appropriate documentation for all payroll transactions, I-9, garnishments.
  • Direct the preparation of payroll related documents providing appropriate documentation through various journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger support.
  • Ensures the timely review of all time and attendance submissions, new hires, rehires, compensation changes, terminations, leaves of absence, and paycheck deductions, earnings, and taxes, etc.
  • Preparation of relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports and monitoring the accurate processing of staff transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Maintain and management of payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures as needed as well as electronic filing of payroll documentation.
  • Collaborates with the payroll manager and the Human Resources, Accounting, and Finance teams to support ongoing initiatives and projects such as pay cards, general ledger updates for Financial Force, annual merit increases, etc.
  • Ensuring all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements and regulations processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years related professional experience in payroll.
  • Experience with Ultipro, Workday, ADP or other similar HR/payroll system, Financial Force platforms.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite, MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and to produce timely, Strong, professional communication skills in listening, speaking, and writing necessary for interactions with staff, service providers and coworkers over the phone, in person, and via e-mail
  • Attention to detail and the ability to enter data with consistent accuracy
