Parker+Lynch has partnered with a mission-driven non-profit organization in Arlington, VA as they intend to hire a Payroll Manager. The payroll manager will handle the payroll process for their 1000+ person organization. Their company offers strong benefits and competitive compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day (bi-weekly) payroll process for our 1000+ person organization across 50 states
  • Lead a payroll team with effective management skills
  • Work closely with HR and broader Finance, Tax and Legal teams
  • Ensure compliance with supplemental tax withholding requirements
  • Verify all payroll entries including deductions, earnings, and changes
  • Reconcile payroll data to resolve any discrepancies
  • Coordinate benefit changes
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Complete payroll account reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc tasks
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll
  • Familiar with ADP or Paycom
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
