Parker+Lynch has partnered with a prominent non-profit organization in Washington, DC as they intend to hire a Payroll Manager. The payroll manager will handle the payroll process for their 300+ person organization. Their company offers strong benefits and competitive compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day (bi-weekly) payroll process for our 300+ person organization
  • Responsible for our Time and Attendance module in ADP
  • Ensure compliance with supplemental tax withholding requirements
  • Verify all payroll entries including deductions, earnings, and changes
  • Reconcile payroll data to resolve any discrepancies
  • Coordinate benefit changes
  • Ensure processing of imputed income and nonroutine deferred compensation
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Complete payroll account reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc tasks
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll
  • Familiar with Great Plains and ADP Workforce Now
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
