A Payroll Manager job is available courtesy of Parker+Lynch.  Our client is seeking a hands-on experienced payroll professional to manage the daily operations of their Payroll Department.  If you have at least seven years of experience  with both domestic and international payroll as well as union pay rules per the collective bargaining agreement this is a great opportunity!

Desired Qualifications:

  • Seven plus years of related experience to include international and union payroll
  • Knowledge of ADP, and Navison
  • Strong knowledge of HR as it relates to payroll
  • Demonstrated understanding of garnishment and withholding compliance
  • CPP or desire to complete preferred
  • Great communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good understanding of the general ledger
  • Responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations of payroll dept
  • Handling payroll tax and filing of payroll related federal, state and local tax
  • Ensuring HR and payroll compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Supporting year end audits
  • Overseeing system conversions
  • Identifying areas for improvement
