Payroll Manager

Parker + Lynch is seeking a talented, experienced Payroll Manager for a client based in Albuquerque. The Payroll Manager is responsible for all aspects of timely payroll processing and reporting as well as a significant portion of benefits administration through Infor Lawson.


  • Responsible for the weekly processing of payroll
  • Review of hours, the interface of hours and related balancing
  • Responsible for accuracy of all payroll data
  • Responsible for edits for timecards.
  • Communicates with various departments and performs research in order to accurately process payroll
  • Experience with scheduling and benefit time, accruals in payroll systems
  • Assist with the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis

  • Bachelors degree in related field required
  • At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume (500+ employees) payroll setting
  • Must have high standards for work accuracy
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent follow-through and proactive work style
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Payroll and Accounting standards
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and with confidential data
