Payroll Accountant – Chester County

Parker + Lynch is seeking experienced individuals for a Payroll Accountant job in Chester County, PA. This is a standalone position that will report directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for processing multi-state payroll for 400+ Employees (Hourly / Salaried), and ADP experience is strongly preferred. The salary for this position is $70k - $80k based on experience.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the payroll function for the organization
  • Process payroll bi-weekly (hourly/salary) for 300+ employees in 20+ states
  • Prepare and submit quarterly/annual tax filings
  • Handle any employee payroll issues quickly and with a high level of professionalism
  • Process employee terminations and process final paycheck in compliance with state laws
  • Assist with special projects as needed

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing for 300+ employees
  • ADP Experience strongly preferred  
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy in a high volume, deadline driven, environment
