Payroll Specialist
Parker + Lynch is currently partnering with a global business services provider in the Yardley, PA area on a search for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing multi-state payroll for over 2,00 employees on a bi-weekly basis. Responsibilities:
- Calculate, input, and audit payroll and timekeeping information in order to document and assure the accuracy of employee payroll processed bi-weekly for all employees.
- Record changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions and insurance coverage, for each employee to update master payroll records.
- Record data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
- Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
- Prepare and issue paychecks either manually or via the payroll processor vendor.
- Prepare, review, and correct year-end W-2s.
- Prepare department wires.
- Calculate Quarterly and Annual Incentive Pay and is also responsible for Deferred Compensation Payout.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Working experience of payroll tax at the federal, state, and local levels
- UltiPro system experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is a plus
