A Plant Accounting Manager job opportunity is available in Wyoming through Parker & Lynch. We are recruiting a professional candidate that comes from both public accounting and industry that is very well rounded in the General Leger, Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting, GAAP and SOX. This professional will have their CPA with also having supervisory experience. Our client is eager to interview this candidate right away. Requirements of the Plant Accounting Manager:

  • Manage the month/quarter and year-end close process
  • Responsible for all financial reporting of the plant
  • Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations
  • Monthly variance analysis, research along with documentation of account fluctuations to production cost
  • Responsible for all cost accounting
  • Inventory
  • SOX compliance with US GAAP
  •  Internal controls
  • Special projects that are assigned
  • Leadership of the Accounting staff
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
  • CPA is required
  • At least 7+ years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
  • Cost Accounting experience is a must
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly analytical being able to solve problems
