Project Control Analyst:

Parker+Lynch has partnered with a prominent government contractor headquartered in Maryland as they hire a project control analyst on to their growing team. This firm has recently agreed to support research to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. The volume of work that they are experiencing has greatly increased as resources pour in to bolster their efforts. The project control analyst will be responsible for analyzing, tracking and reporting for projects of various size and contract type.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and identify variances from project plans and pricing; manage change orders and pricing adjustments
  • Develop and maintains both revenue recognition and management of Estimates to Complete (ETCs), Estimates at Completion (EACs), burn rate analyses, and related cost analyses
  • Liaising between Contracts and Project Leads
  • Review monthly billing for accuracy and potential issues
  • Prepare internal and external reports on the financial status of assigned projects
  • Perform subcontractor and purchase order management activities including preparing purchase requisitions, processing of invoices, and preparation of accruals for projects
  • Perform any Ad Hoc reporting requested by either Project Leads or Contract Managers
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of professional experience in budgeting, finance and/or Federal/Commercial contracts management
  • Experience with various types of contracts, subcontracts, or grants to include Cost Reimbursable contracts, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M) contracts
