Are you a driven Staff Accountant and ready to take that next step in your career ? We are assisting our northside client to add a qualified Senior Accountant to their growing team. This role will provide support to the Sr Vice President of Finance and contribute to the success of the Company through financial reporting, internal controls, and process development. The Senior Accountant's main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries are made to the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
  • General ledger reconciliation and month-end journal entries preparation
  • Assist in the preparation of Statutory and GAAP financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Ensure timely and accurate investment accounting entries are made to the general ledger
  • Assistance with preparation of monthly and quarterly income tax accruals and estimates
  • You are a Qualified Candidate for this position if you possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and public accounting experience preferred
  • 3+ years public accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Must be fast-learning and quick-thinking, accurate, organized and analytical individual with ability to maintain a high aptitude for detailed work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
