Our client is a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to lead accounting functions. They are looking for someone who is a self-starter with a process improvement mindset. Our client offers growth opportunities, excellent benefits, work life balance, and an extremely flexible schedule. This role will report to the Controller and also work very closely with the CFO.


  • Prepare general ledger entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and maintain general ledger chart of accounts
  • Reconcile daily cash activities and bank statements
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Maintains accounting controls by recommending and implementing policies and procedures
  • Reconcile all major balance sheet accounts for month end
  • Review the work of other team members and provides timely feedback
  • Continually improve processes within the department
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in relation to the technical functions of the accounting department
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required by the CFO and Controller
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 5+ years of related experience in accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Public Accounting background is a plus
  • Large ERP systems knowledge such as SAP, Great Plains
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
