Parker + Lynch is seeking a talented and driven Senior Accountant, to add to a dynamic and fun team in Phoenix, AZ. The right person will possess curiosity, interest in the field, hunger to grow, and willingness to learn from the mentors that will surround you.

This position will take a lead role in the month end close process, owning portions of the balance sheet as well as assisting with ongoing accounting operations. Comfortability with accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, and excel is necessary. The right candidate will be able to jump on a path to career growth, assisted by the team around you.

Consistent Responsibilities

  • Review of bank reconciliations at month end
  • AR analysis and reconciliation with aging schedules
  • Fixed asset updates and depreciation schedules
  • Journal entries, automating where possible
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors, partners, and the team
  • Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Various unique balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Reporting on an as needed basis for management or other internal departments
  • Be the point of contact for outside CPAs
  • Must Haves

  • Degree in accounting
  • More than two years of experience
  • Strong excel aptitude
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn
  • Humble, Hungry, Smart
  • Preferred

  • CPA license
