Great Long Island company is seeking a Senior Accountant in their family office.
The Sr. Accountant will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to
Prepare consolidated financial statements for high net worth Individuals and Entities (Trusts, LLCs).
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions via journal entries within Quicken & Quick Books.
Produce monthly balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
Prepare quarterly cash flow projections and budget vs. actual analysis.
Prepare detailed expense account analysis.
Liaison with third party banking/brokerage/investment professionals.
Analyze current financial trends and future commitments.
Process invoices for payments.
Prepare basic corporate and personal tax returns.
Process payroll for household employees.
Prepare internal management reports.
Assist in the review of daily cash transactions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Quicken and Quick Books.
Strong understanding of basic accounting, financial and administration skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, organization and problem solving skills
Hard working, a quick study, detail oriented and have the ability to work alone as well as with others to reach a common goal
