Parker & Lynch is working with a successful manufacturing and distribution company in Somerset County. This is a temporary position for a 6-month consultant who can step in as Senior Accounting Manager. Duties/Responsibilities
General ledger management including all journal entries and supervising staff
Calculation of month-end accruals
Monthly and quarterly account variance analysis
Participation in SOX audits
Support business units as needed
Budgeting and forecasting
Ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRA
Month-end close
Monitoring of expenses and gross profits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
10+ Years of Experience in a mix of Public and Private Accounting
CPA Certification required
SAP and Hyperion Experience required
Supervisory Experience required
Manufacturing and Distribution Experience preferred
Strong Excel skills required
Strong month-end close and general ledger experience required
Superb organizational skills required
