Senior Auditor - Miami or Boca Raton

  • Manage audit responsibilities from planning through filing
  • Prepare associated financials
  • Oversee incoming staff on engagements and review respective test work
  • Evaluate and communicate progress of audit engagements and ensure engagement is within budget
  • Meet required deadlines for financial filings
  • Streamline audit process as appropriate
  • Evaluate impact of technical accounting requirements on respective business practices for engagements
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong understanding of SEC requirements and GAAP
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience
  • Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Firm understanding of internal controls
  • Multilingual is a plus
  • Employment type: Full time (40 hours/week or more as required) | One day in office, four days remote.
