Senior External Auditor
Phoenix, AZ 85260

The qualified candidate will perform financial statement audits, single audits and other related services for nonprofit and governmental entities in Arizona. We service primarily Charter schools and Community Health Care Centers. My client is paying very competitively, has great benefits including 100% paid healthcare, bonus and more.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • MUST HAVE GOVERNMENT AND/OR NOT-FOR-PROFIT AUDIT EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in performing financial statement audits for nonprofit and governmental entities
  • Uniform guidance experience
  • CPA designation in good standing in Arizona, or at minimum, meet qualifications to sit for the CPA exam
  • Available to travel in Arizona for 1 week increments for 10-12 weeks throughout the year (home on weekends)
  • CaseWare software experience a major plus
  • Highly motivated and works well both independently and in a group setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • **Would be open to an out of state candidate, but no relocation is offered.

    **This role is currently 100% remote or in office with the choice being up to hired candidate. Even if you choose 100% remote, the candidate must still live here in Phoenix, AZ or at least move here within a month of getting hired.
