I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst / FP&A role with a great client in Vancouver. This position will work directly with the CFO to help improve procedures, involved with team building/hiring and be a strong foundation for the finance department. This role could be titled as a Manager for the right background. If this sounds like something exciting than let's talk!

Functions - 

  • Management reporting - monthly and quarterly
  • Analyzing financial results, business risk and key trends
  • Interact with all business units involved with various operational reporting
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for the company and business units
  • Analyze KPIs to assist with the strategic financial vision for the company
  • Process improvement, development and maintenance - provide input and ideas for areas of improvement and solutions
  • Reporting on revenue and expense trends
  • Variance analysis
  • Develop various financial models for various company investments
  • Interaction with staff, management and business units on financial related matters
  • Assist with department staff hiring, development and training
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting or related area
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred - some public accounting a+
  • 6+ years of accounting/finance/FP&A experience
  • Some supervisory or management experience a+
  • Larger ERP and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
