Responsibilities:

  • Run detailed weekly performance reports using key data management systems (IRI, Nielsen, Customer POS)
  • Create monthly & quarterly PowerPoint reports to be presented to Account Manager
  • Tracking sales trends and coordinating with Account Manager to develop sales strategies
  • Create weekly customer report/dashboard containing key performance metrics
  • Weekly/Monthly management of internal customer team meeting and follow up
  • Compile sales data for Management meetings as needed
  • Effectively use key metrics of the revenue growth management process to make recommendations to Account Managers and Sales Leaders as to how to efficiently spend trade dollars.
  • Analyze financial data for the Sales and Marketing functions of the Company and developing reporting that supports company operations and decision making.
  • Gather data from external sources including POS, vendor portals and industry sources to develop forecasts and trends for channel, product, and brand analyses.
  • Aid the Sales team by providing sales performance data for developing customer presentations and deliverables.
  • Maintain customer pricing in the SD module of the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Support teams in developing annual Sales Forecasts
  • Responsible for cost/benefit analyses of projects and measure ROI for specific Sales projects.
  • Develop and/or revise financial and/or management reports for Sales organization
  • Generate financial and operational models to allow us to benchmark sales and track improvement over time.
  • Responsible for process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the Company.
  • Effectively communicate between the Finance, Sales, Marketing and other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.
  • Evaluate marketing spend monthly and aid with planning and executing marketing initiatives
  • Present promotion effectiveness comparisons and make recommendations
  • Oversee the CPT file and MRC (internal software) marketing upload and tracking of promotions
  • Support the National Sales Manager to create short, medium- and long-term budgets (1 – 5 years)
  • Support the Account Manager to support new opportunities by analyzing new potential items and listings
  • Schedule and prepare for regular internal meetings regarding customer operations
  • Responsible for frequent, clear, and open communication within and among functional teams regarding projects, insights and/or company issues
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience, preferably as a Financial Analyst
  • Experience developing forecasts, budgets, and operational and financial models
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must have prior experience using SAP, S/4HANA preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Able to take initiative and collaborate in a team environment
  • Desire to learn and work independently
  • Prior experience in Distribution and/or Consumer Products, preferred
