Parker and Lynch is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst position working for a company in North Cincinnati.   The Analyst will conduct market analyses for two flagship brands, and the overall profitability of the business including future growth opportunities. Also, you will develop and monitor data quality metrics to ensure business data and reporting needs are met.



  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the business
  • Provide insightful analysis, modeling, scenario analysis
  • Budgeting, forecasting, business case reviews & financial due diligence
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist with cash flow management
  • Provide cost management through variance analysis and understanding of cost drivers
  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Analysis of variances to budget on a monthly basis
  • Analysis and reporting including trend, profitability, etc.
  • Providing strategic analytical and information support to the business with a key focus around profitability and growth.
  • KPI Management reporting, analysis
  • Investment analysis and scenario development
  • Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders
  • Timely analysis of monthly management information and reporting to the CEO/CFO and Board
  • Pricing Analysis
  • Manage key relationships with CEO, CFO, Auditors, customers, and vendors


    Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 
  • Public Accounting background is a plus
  • Experience in Analysis and heavy use of systems (Excel) is necessary, ideally you will have experience in inventory analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Financial Modelling, etc.)
  • SAP / Cognos type system experience
  • Experience with Alteryx a plus
  • Solid experience in accounting
  • Organizational leadership (collaborative management style)
  • Analytics and Strategic Planning
