Senior Financial Analyst

Parker + Lynch is currently conducting a search for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a large Healthcare organization in Center City Philadelphia. As the Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for all Financial Planning and Analysis functions within the organization including the budgeting, forecasting, and variance Analysis.

Qualified candidates will have a MINIMUM of 5 years previous FP&A experience, healthcare or insurance industry experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and preferably an MBA or CPA.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial forecasting and reporting
  • Analyze financial data to create models for decision support and provide business recommendations
  • Review inefficiencies and discrepancies; make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Be the expert user of the financial forecasting software in order to build and expand the financial planning structure, as well as to train others on how to effectively utilize the system
  • Maintain a rolling set of key financial forecasts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Be a leader in integrating data sources from internal and external sources
  • Create a financial reporting infrastructure and produce internal reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • A MINIMUM of 5 years hands on financial experience
  • Must have previous FP&A experience
  • Healthcare of Insurance industry experience required
  • MBA or CPA highly preferred
