A large, international consumer goods company is looking to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to their expanding team. In this role, you will support the Accounting Director with a wide range of accounting and finance responsibilities related to SEC filings, general ledger and financial reporting. Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review financial information provided from subsidiaries.
  • Collecting and consolidating key financial reports.
  • Significant interface and communication with In country controllers and business units.
  • Prepare the documentation for 10K, 10Q and 8K Reporting.
  • Review and analyze account reconciliations from subsidiaries in a monthly basis.
  • Research and resolve issues on balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure proper General Ledger coding.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and local accounting rules, policies and requirements.
  • Research and analyze new accounting standards and their impact on the company.
  • Articulate to the company’s management the daily needs of in-country users and controllers.
  • Propose new project that enhances JD Edwards World 7.3 Cum 10 functionalities.
  • Propose new project enhancements to TM1 reporting systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in relation to JD Edwards software.
  • Assist and Prepare schedules for External/Internal auditors in a quarterly and annually basis.
  • Assist and prepare Consolidation, 8k, 10Q and 10K reports.
  • Manage and assist the preparation of annual IFRS based financial statements.
  • Adhere to Internal Control/Sox narratives.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Review new accounts and correct setup to the GL.
  • Review new category codes to the GL.
  • Review and analyze new business unit/cost center to be created in JDE and TM1.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Accounting or related field
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with SEC regulations
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Public Accounting experience required
