Parker+Lynch is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for a new client that has nearly 200 locations around the country.  The ideal candidate will be a CPA and have at least 2 years of SEC reporting experience.  In this role the candidate will work on SEC filings and technical accounting research.  

Job Duties:

  • Supporting SEC filings and debt covenant compliance
  • Ensures that financial statements are in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements
  • Assist in research of accounting rules, regulations, and technical accounting matters
  • Work closely with personnel in treasury, tax and financial planning and analysis to ensure timely dissemination and understanding of period-end results and disclosures
  • Assist in the preparation, completion and documentation of external financial reports, including earnings releases, SEC filings and debt covenant reporting requirements
  • Prepare detailed account reconciliations, roll-forwards and various support schedules integral to completion of the Corporation's financial statements and footnotes
  • Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certificate or CPA candidate ready to take the exam in the near future
  • 3-5 years of experience (all public accounting or public/private)
