Parker and Lynch is currently seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant with 3 or more years of experience for a full-time job at an established client in Rock Hill, SC. This is a great permanent role that offers the opportunity to join a rapidly-growing team, as well as the ability to collaborate with various levels of management across the organization.


  • In charge of day-to-day accounting and monthly close activities for both tangible and intangible assets, to ensure the Company’s financial statements and resulting supporting schedules are captured timely, completely, and accurately in accordance with GAAP.
  • Recording tangible and intangible asset activity through subsidiary ledger postings and various journal entries as well as monitoring activity though account reconciliations and accounting schedules such as rollforwards, fluctuations and other similar analyses.
  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, translating, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain a complete and effective internal control environment
  • Lead and coordinate the periodic fixed asset physical count process.
  • Support business partners through various information requests

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Accounting
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, specifically with fixed assets
  • Must have strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Experience using Oracle Financial Systems preferred
  • Experience using Blackline preferred
  • Experience using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) preferred
