 Global company is hiring a Senior Manager/Director of Investor Relations.  The opportunity will be based in the U.S. and the location is negotiable with a preference in the Midwest or NYC.  This opportunity will enable you to work autonomously and work directly with the global leadership team.  The successful candidate with either have a background in investor relations/investment banking or be in a corporate communications role with a background in finance. 

Responsibilities:

Support the execution of Global Investor Relations team's strategies and corporate access plan

  • Effectively present and explain the company’s strategy and results and educate investors and the analyst community, including financial results, product offerings, market/customer dynamics and major business events
  • Maintain dialogue with various internal stakeholders to stay up to speed on latest developments across the business
  • Assist in preparation of materials for investor relations events, including earnings conference calls, road shows, conferences, analyst/investor meetings and annual general meetings
  • Monitor company results, compile statistics and analyze situations for investor impact
  • Analyze and report on Company's stock performance and investor base changes
  • Assist in preparation of monthly capital markets performance and business analysis
  • Ongoing analysis and monitoring of competitor and peer group companies
  • Assist in preparation of content for board meetings
  • Maintain dialogue with investment banking partners on financing and other development initiatives
  • Compile information and conduct detailed analyses in response to investor and analyst inquiries
  • Work cross-functionally with Financial, Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Operations, Corporate Communications, Legal and other organizations to gather, analyze and present data
  • Prepare investor profiles, agendas and any additional research and briefing documentation required in advance of meetings

    Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
  • MBA and/or CFA desirable.
  • Ten or more years of diversified financial/analytical experience, including financial modelling and P&L/balance sheet experience required
  • Experience in a centralized Finance team or Investor Relations team a plus
  • Experience in investor relations/investment banking or finance
  • Strong working knowledge of a public company’s reporting/forecasting requirements for IFRS/US GAAP/SEC compliance required
  • Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Strong interpersonal/communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally required; ability to work through ambiguity & action-oriented problem-solving skills imperative
  • Exceptional presentation skills
