Senior Payroll Specialist

Parker + Lynch is currently partnering with a global technology organization in Moorestown, NJ on a search for a Senior Payroll Specialist. In order to be successful in this role you will need a thorough understanding of multi-state payroll, CPP certification, International payroll experience, and experience with reconciliations related to payroll entries.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll, bonus, and commission accurately and timely and serve as the subject matter expert for all payroll matters
  • Resolve all discrepancies related to payroll including commission, bonus, deductions, etc.
  • Partner with the HR Mangers in various areas such as inputting new hires, terminations, employee transfers/changes
  • Manage the payroll system, process expense reimbursements, submit 401k contributions, prepare final checks/payments
  • Manage time and attendance including partnering with the Leadership Team to ensure legal compliance and proper record keeping of all payroll records
  • Perform various audits and reports to ensure accurate payroll processing, commission payout, deduction, etc.
  • Process wage orders, benefit orders, garnishments and respond to various government inquiries and audits
  • Review processes and program for improvements to ensure it continuously supports the current need of the business and optimize systems and processes to drive efficiencies
  • Ensure that all non-exempt employees’ times are approved by managers in a timely fashion and processed accurately
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation quarterly and year-end tax filings (W-2s, ACA, etc)


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of payroll experience
  • Multi-state, union, and non-union payroll experience
  • CPP certification a plus
  • Experience with reconciliations related to payroll entries
  • International payroll experience a plus
