 Our client, a rapidly growing real estate company in Chicago, IL, seeking to add a Senior level Property Accountant in the Northern suburbs!

    1. 4+ years of residential property accounting
    2. Property management software experience required
    3. Bachelors in Accounting; will consider finance if they have Yardi and everything else



    1.   Yardi experience is a huge plus

    2.   CPA a plus



  • Assist the accounting team
  • Work with Accounting to improve processes and internal controls designed around the financial processes.
  • Assist with external audits, compilations, 1099 processing and sales tax returns.
  • Respond to requests from ownership, lenders, and other departments.
  • Complete various financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analyses.
  • Review accounts payable, process checks, and assist with cash management.
  • Reconcile cash accounts and security deposits.
  • Prepare journal entries for various transactions and cash receipts.
  • Assist with annual budgets and uploading files.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by ownership, senior leadership, or the employee's supervisor.
