Parker & Lynch has partnered with a Real Estate Investment company in Middlesex County who is looking to bring on a Senior Property Accountant. If your background included public accounting, with services provided to real estate clients within tax or audit, or you are currently a property accountant in a real estate firm, this may be your next opportunity. Duties/Responsibilities
Maintain the books and records for each property assigned, including acquisitions, dispositions, taxes, and all operating expenses
Preparation of annual budgets and cash forecasts
Preparation of tenant invoices and tenant account analysis
Preparation of year-end audit and tax workpapers
Responsible for all month-end close for assigned properties
Supervise 1+ staff accountants, including training and support
Abstract and interpret documents such as leases, loans, and joint ventures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience with MRI and Kardin preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
2-5 years’ experience working within public accounting, private, or a blend
Real Estate experience
Excellent Communication, both verbal and written
High level of professionalism
Compensation
$85,000-$90,000
