Senior Accountant:

The Senior Accountant will manage the Staff Accountant team and work closely together with the Operation Finance team to continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting while following the corporate guidelines and regulations.

The Senior Accountant reports to the Corporate Controller.  Plenty of growth opportunity! Salary $75-$85K (based on experience).


  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in our ERP system.
  • Prepares, records and review asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing our ERP system account information.
  • Help automate the monthly submission from our ERP into our Consolidation system.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledger by controlling the chart of account and related master data in the ERP system, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries and accounts.
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • On-time reporting of our regional month end financial results into a global consolidation software.
  • Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
  • Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
  • Secures financial information by completing database and work files backups.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Lead, manage and consult the staff accountant team.
  • Create, maintain and implement documented standard operating procedures.
  • Improve efficiency of our procedures and the team members.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years’ experience in accounting/finance
  • Experience with benefit program accounting and auditing process is strongly preferred
  • Experience with corporate insurance programs is preferred
  • Manufacturing experience will be a plus but not required
  • CPA preferred (but not required)
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
  • Good experience and skills with Microsoft Suite tools, especially Excel
  • Structured and analytic working style
  • Strong coordination skills with attention to details, whilst also keeping the bigger picture in mind.
