Parker+Lynch has partnered with a large healthcare company headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona! This company provides high-tough, specialized in-home and mobile clinic care to at-risk patients across Arizona, Massachusetts and Florida.  The Staff Accountant role is the steppingstone for advancement, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager who is an excellent mentor and advocate for success.

To be successful in this position, you must have your degree in accounting or finance, along with 2+ years of staff accountant experience.

This is blended work from home and on-site position paying between $65,000-70,000/year.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, income statements and accounts payable/receivable transactions
  • Assist with fixed asset/ depreciation recording and tracking, in addition to quarterly tax preparation and filings
  • Perform complex research and analysis to resolve discrepancies in accounting and financial data
  • Support senior leadership with Ad Hoc reporting audit requests and internal control initiatives
  • Education, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; public accounting experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience with general ledger and month end accounting + strong GAAP knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP and macros); ERP software experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and team player skills
