The Staff Accountant will work in a dynamic and growing healthcare company and primarily be responsible for maintaining general ledger, preparing monthly consolidated financial statements, supervising accounts payable, maintaining fixed assets, and providing ad hoc financial analysis as needed. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and Supervisor. Client offers a competitive salary with a full benefit package.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries during month-end closing for multiple entities
  • Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations and analysis
  • Compile and organize supporting documents related to the monthly close
  • Reconcile and eliminate intercompany accounts during the monthly consolidation
  • Supervise the accounts payable clerk
  • Maintain and update fixed assets database
  • Create quarterly intercompany and intracompany invoices and supporting packages for various fee settlements
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual work papers for external auditor
  • Update chart of accounts, intercompany links, and reporting trees in accounting software
  • Document accounting policies, procedures and processes as needed
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • 1-3 years relevant experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Eager to learn and grow with the organization
