Tax Manager
Parker + Lynch is partnering with a client in Lynnwood, WA who is looking to add a Manager of Tax to their growing team! This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to grow into a Partner and will give you the opportunity to form lasting relationships with clients. You will prepare or review federal and state income taxes for individuals, privately held businesses, trusts, and estates, as well as prepare documentation for submission to the IRS and other taxing authorities. You will also be afforded the ability to mentor a team of strong Tax professionals and provide training, performance management, and contribute to their professional development!
Job Duties
Prepare and review federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates
Form and maintain client relationships and lead tax engagements
Manage and develop a team of Tax Accountants and Associate level colleagues
Prepare documentation for submission to the IRS and other taxing authorities
Provide technical training, performance management, and colleague development opportunities
Ad-hoc duties as the business may require
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Active CPA designation required
Minimum of 4 years of recent Public Accounting Tax experience (preferably in a management capacity)
Ability to lead Tax engagements, form lasting relationships with clients, and solve complex Tax and Accounting issues
Versed in Tax planning, research, and staff oversight
ProSystem fx proficiency is a huge plus!

$150,000 - $175,000 DOE
Hours
Monday through Friday (some Saturdays). Flexible start time between 7:00am and 8:30am. This is a salaried Public Accounting position with expectations beyond 50 hours per week during the busy season
