If qualified, join this awesome media/advertising company in Silicon Beach - the team is seeking an experienced CPA/Vice President of Accounting to handle the accounting and tax in their frequent Mergers & Acquisitions.
This position reports directly to the CFO.

EXPERIENCE | EDUCATION | SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar discipline
  • CPA License
  • MEDIA/ADVERTISING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (No Flexibility)
  • 10+ years in progressive financial management in high growth companies with revenue of $350M plus
  • M&A accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Revenue recognition - ASC 606); and lease accounting - ASC 841 highly preferred
  • Process improvement experience and strong accounting controls setup
  • Strong relationship-building skills - at all levels
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • Supervisory and leadership experience

 

Your Contributions will Include:

  • Managing all things accounting/tax/audit planning related to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) - takes lead role in M&A due diligence relative to accounting.
  • Financial reporting | report control & automation | workflow control . . . . contributing to process improvements as the rapid continued growth of the company necessitates efficiencies.
  • Take a leadership role in the upgrade of the software system, relative to accounting
  • Oversees/handles annual audit
  • Reviews/oversees purchase accounting transactions relative to Mergers & Acquisitions
