Parker+Lynch is looking for a VP of Finance to join our real estate/property management client in Gilbert, Arizona! This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a growing company, as well as lead and develop of a team of Financial Analysts. You’re the ideal candidate if you have your bachelor’s in accounting or finance along with 5-10 years of experience, including leadership.

Compensation is up to $120k plus bonus. Candidates MUST live in Arizona as this role is both onsite and work from home.

Essential job functions:

  • Analyze and report monthly financial performance for management and capital partners
  • Develop and maintain yearly budgets and drive the cadence for financial forecasting
  • Produce KPI reporting measurements, enforcing accountability and initiating corrective action as necessary
  • Streamline current policies and procedures and implement new cost saving initiatives
  • Prepare month end financial reports and assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Oversee and approve various accounting transactions and monitor all balance sheet and P&L statement activity
  • Support the CFO with Ad Hoc analysis and other special project as assigned  
  • Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • 5-10 years of financial analyst and reporting experience
  • Must have experience leading/managing a finance team
  • Proficiency in Excel; Power BI and Tableau highly preferred
  • Experience with investor relations and reporting for capital partners
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong strategic thinking skills
  • Sharp communication (verbal and written) and team player skills
