Parker + Lynch is search for an EMR Analyst or IT Business Systems Analyst for one of our clients based in Santa Fe! This is a smaller but growing healthcare organization, and they need someone to essentially be a “super user” and subject matter expert (SME) for the EMR system. They will also be transitioning to another system in the next 18 months, and this role will help with the transition.



  • Serve as a super user for the organization’s EMR user group consisting of individuals from multiple departments
  • Improving systems by studying current practices, designing modifications, and promoting process improvement
  • Recommending controls by identifying problems and areas for improvement
  • Defining project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements
  • Maintaining system protocols
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and furthering professional development
  • Maintaining proper documentation
  • Coordinate, implement, and maintain implementation of new EMR


  • 2+ years of experience working with EMRs/EHRs in a systems modification environment
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in healthcare is a must; familiarity with terminology, billing codes, intake to discharge process, etc.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, finger printing, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills

    Hiring Type: Open to long term contract or direct hire, part time or full time; very flexible


    Schedule: 20-40 hours per week, flexible for the right candidate


    Salary/Pay Rate: Flexible


    Location: Santa Fe, NM; hybrid working location
