Parker + Lynch is recruiting a Manager of Operations for a healthcare insurance provider in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a newly created position based on company growth. Our client is increasing their staff by 40% this year!!  You will be supervising a team of 4 direct reports. An ideal candidate will have experience with healthcare insurance products, team leadership and strong process improvement.  This role is currently remote but expected to return to the office in the next several months. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, collaborates, and coordinates the operational management systems necessary to achieve internal agency and external customer service goals.
  • Manages vendors for the customer engagement center, printing services, and mailroom functions to ensure that contractual commitments and service level agreements are achieved.
  • Manages the customer service and eligibility operations functions, including the internal escalation center and small business operations staff to provide a high-level of customer service.
  • Collaborates with COO, and senior leadership, to develop and implement plans for the operational processes and personnel to accommodate the growth of the entity.
  • Supervises the training specialist and, in collaboration with compliance staff and leadership, ensures training is appropriate for internal staff and external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyzes reports on eligibility, enrollment and customer service operational results. Assists with internal reporting, to the CFO and CEO and leadership staff, and external reporting, as necessary.
  • Implements the operational plans, directing the available resources to achieve the stated goals.
  • Participates in activities to define customer requirements, examine options, and collaborate with the information technology department to develop and deploy updates or changes to system applications.
  • Complies with HIPAA, Business Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable company policies.
  • Monitors vendor performance and maintains contracts files, ensures regulatory compliance in the areas of the responsibility and oversight.
  • Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, open to substituting work experience for education.
  • MBA highly desired.
  • Experience Requirements:

  • 12+ years of directly related progressive experience.
  • 5+ years of current leadership experience.
  • Background and credit check are required.
  • Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Salary: 75k to 95k/year.  

    Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, 40+ hours per week.
