A cutting edge commercial real estate investment firm that is starting to branch into new investments is looking for their first FP+A Analyst. Due to recent investments, the team is looking to grow to support the new portfolio companies. With large Baltimore ties, our client focuses on making Baltimore a better place to live while also investing in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Report on actual performance vs budget and forecast
  • Prepare ad hock analysis to support business decisions
  • Involved in the monthly close process including account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance (preferred) or related business field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a finance environment (great salary flexibility)
  • Previous Real estate or Investment industry experience
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, index/match, etc)
  • Adaptable and ability to multitask
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Integrity, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn are a must
