Parker + Lynch is urgently seeking a Junior Mortgage Underwriter with greater than three years of experience for a growing company in central Phoenix, AZ. This organization is ready for a motivated individual with vision to grow with them. For the right candidate, this company will help with professional certifications. Proven communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate mortgage loan applications
  • Continually follow up on open items to ensure processing times are consistent
  • Perform complex financial analysis
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide excellent follow up and clear communication
  • Maintain quality standards
  • Evaluate client credit worthiness
  • Effectively shepherd loan application through the process in an efficient manner
  • Maintain client confidentiality  
  • Skills / Qualifications:

  • Well versed in FHA, DE, VA requirements
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
  • Experienced with 4000.1 guidelines
  • Encompass experience
  • Experience:

  • Three plus years of mortgage processing / underwriting experience
  • Employment Type: Full-time position, direct hire

    Work Hours: Flexible, Monday-Friday, typical business hours
