Parker & Lynch is partnering with a full-service retail mortgage lender in adding a remote Loan Officer Assistant to their experienced processing team. This is a full-time, direct hire role with a company known for its amazing company culture. Ideal candidate will provide administrative support and have experience in supporting marketing efforts of their loan officers.



Essential Job Functions:

  • Helps Loan officer collect any all documentation for loan packages
  • Assists loan officer in prequalifying customers
  • Liaison between Loan Officer and customer to help answer general questions
  • Familiar with the appraisal process
  • Updates customers, real estate agents, and titles companies on the loan’s progress
  • Manages loan closings
  • Maintains Loan Officers’ databases of customer information
  • Helps manage marketing campaigns via mail, email, and internet
  • Assists in any and all administrative tasks needed from the loan officer

  • Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of conventional, government (FHA/VA), and Jumbo loan requirements
  • General understanding of state and federal real estate lending regulations
  • Proficient in customer service and a self-starter
  • Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalency degree
  • Previous mortgage experience or sales experience
  • Previous experience in data analytics
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines
  • Comprehensive experience with MS Office software products including 10 key
  • Physical Environment:

  • This position is primarily an in office position
  • Normal office environment
  • Travel Expectations:

  • Local travel may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs, and/or events.
