Midsized firm located in Sacramento, CA is looking an experienced Loan Processors to join their well-established team.  As a Loan Processor your responsibilities will be working directly with the customer, Loan Officer and necessary third parties to obtain and evaluate documents and verifications to complete the processing of a mortgage loan. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering an exceptional customer experience consistently along with being a self-starter. A strong desire and willingness to contribute in multiple aspects of the business is critical.  The potential to grow is absolutely there!

Responsibilities of the Loan Processor roles in Sacramento, CA

  • Evaluate credit documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review of file documentation for red flags
  • Be sure file meets requested guidelines
  • Offer feedback for pre-closing as well as post-closing quality control audits
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure we meet customer expectations
  • Review new loan submissions from Loan Officer within 48 hours  
  • Verify loan is complete with checklist and accompanying disclosures, documents, needs list, anticipated or confirmed program/investor, and etc.
  • Input final information as validated in Encompass and reruns AUS for final loan submission.
  • Submit loan to Underwriting within 24 hours of receipt of documents
  • Submit all documents needed to draw closing documents within 72 hours of closing.
  • Provide completed files to Underwriting based on Investor and/or AUS requirements.
  • Clears any conditions that require communication to the title companies, appraiser, employers, surveyors, and etc.
  • Qualifications for the Loan Processor job in Sacramento, CA

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with realtors, customer, and team members
  • Solid understanding of agency guidelines and experience with investor overlays
  • Proficiency with DU and LP
  • Must be current with RESPA guidelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have excellent writing skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the mortgage industry
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to organize, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time.
