Mortgage Operations Manager

We’re currently partnering with a well-established credit union located in Camas, WA that’s looking for an experienced Mortgage Operations Manager. Compensation: $65-85k/year depending on experience

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5-7 employees
  • Oversee the closing of all employee loans
  • Identify gaps and provide ongoing assistance in documentation processes and procedures
  • Ensure that all KPI’s for the department are met
  • Prepare and deliver action plans or correction actions when individual metrics are not met
  • Interview, hire and provide ongoing training for disclosure desk, closer/funder, post-closing
  • Manage or oversee administrative tasks of the department (timecards, schedules, vacations, performance reviews)
  • Continually review process and identify areas for improvement

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ mortgage closing experience
  • Ability to understand and make recommended changes to standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams towards the delivery of goals and objectives
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated skill in monitoring and overseeing loan production pipeline
  • Sound judgment skills essential to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures
