Collateral Underwriter

Parker & Lynch is partnering with an incredible company in the mortgage industry that’s looking for a Collateral Underwriter for their remote team. This is a unique position focused on analyzing and evaluating appraisals for Conventional, FHA and VA loans.

    Pay & Benefits:

  • $110,000-115,000 base salary plus bonuses!
  •  

    Responsibilities:

  • Review 8-10 appraisals to ensure the loan meets investor and program criteria & ensure a 24 hour turn time when possible
  • Review CU findings for all appraisals
  • Request and review appraisal revisions, desk reviews field reviews
  • Ensure value is supported and that appraiser has provided a complete and accurate report
  • Partner closely with Credit Underwriters and Loan Officers to relay decision in a timely manner
  •  

     

    Qualifications:

  • FHA DE Certification is required to be considered for this role
  • VA SAR would be a major plus
  • Thorough knowledge of Conventional, FHA and VA appraisal requirements
  •  

    Hours:

  • 40 hours per week with optional OT available on occasion
  • Set your own schedule & work in any time zone
