Parker + Lynch Technology is hiring for a Technical Support opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, salaried opportunity with benefits.
Responsibilities:
Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems
Research, resolve, and respond to end-user issues/problems received via email, telephone, or escalations, and provide support on desktop and laptop systems.
Install/Configure Software and Hardware Solutions
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
Provide general IT end-user support
Participate in emergency support after hours support on call rotation
Qualifications
Associate's or bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
1+ years of professional experience as Helpdesk or Technical Support
Exceptional customer service experience
Experience with supporting VOIP phones
Experience with troubleshooting windows printing issues
Experience with troubleshooting password issues and resets
Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
Experience with help desk ticketing systems
Tech support certification is preferred but not required
