Parker + Lynch Technology is hiring for a Technical Support opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, salaried opportunity with benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently troubleshoot technical problems
  • Research, resolve, and respond to end-user issues/problems received via email, telephone, or escalations, and provide support on desktop and laptop systems.
  • Install/Configure Software and Hardware Solutions
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
  • Provide general IT end-user support
  • Participate in emergency support after hours support on call rotation
  • Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
  • 1+ years of professional experience as Helpdesk or Technical Support
  • Exceptional customer service experience
  • Experience with supporting VOIP phones
  • Experience with troubleshooting windows printing issues
  • Experience with troubleshooting password issues and resets
  • Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems
  • Tech support certification is preferred but not required
