Job Description -

Key Responsibilities:

  • A subject matter expert in software development
  • Engineering on the Android mobile platform including expertise with the Java and Kotlin programming languages as used in the context of Android development.
  • Act as a mentor for other Staff, Senior, and Software Engineers
  • You need to be up to date with the latest methods, tools, design and architectural patterns for the Android platform.
  • You will assist in defining hiring standards for our team.
  • Tackle difficult debugging, incident response, and reverse-engineering tasks.
  • Build frameworks to improve teams' productivity.
  • Can anticipate and quickly adapt systems and practices to changes in requirements.
  • Deliver across multiple tech projects simultaneously on time and with outstanding performance
  • Complete the objectives with a high degree of independence and initiative and provide technical leadership across the team to achieve goals.
  • Requirements:

  • You will need 5+ years of experience (minimum) in developing and deploying Android apps
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Proven software development experience and Android skills development
  • Proven working experience in Android app development
  • Experience with Android SDK
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Additional Information:

  • This position is 100% remote, but we are looking for candidates in the PST time zone.
