As an Application Support Analyst, you will be providing advanced data delivery, system monitoring, and application support capability for business software applications, databases, and interfaces. You must effectively leverage critical thinking plus advanced analysis and query writing techniques, employ innovative troubleshooting methodologies, create and deliver actionable metrics while taking ownership and proactively driving requests, issues, disruptions, and assignments through to a timely, well communicated, and professionally documented resolution. To be successful in this role, you must display robust interpersonal skills, have a high aptitude for technical learning. Be approachable and willing to engage quickly, multi-task efficiently, demonstrate discipline and initiative to consistently solve complex problems in a fluid, fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of composure, transparency, and professionalism during daily interaction with peers, customers, management, and external partners


Essential Responsibilities

·         Write SQL queries to fulfill advanced data delivery requests (reports, extractions, etc.)

·         Implement and maintain system monitoring tools, alerting mechanisms, and dashboards

·         Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues with applications, databases, interfaces, and reports

·         Assemble data, ensure accuracy, perform analysis, enhance KPIs, and deliver actionable metrics

·         Provide timely resolution of requests, tickets, alerts, and alarms per agreed-upon SLA

·         Identify, test, validate, research, and action break-fix, workarounds, and defect management

·         Collaborate with internal teams to fully document complex business problems and solutions

·         Determine the root cause of incidents and make recommendations for prevention in the future

·         Improve early detection of issues through automation and tool configuration

·         Review existing support processes for effectiveness; recommend and drive improvements

·         Collaborate with software teams to prioritize known defects and intermediate workarounds

·         Train peers on new tools, techniques, lessons learned, and process improvements



·         Experience in fast-paced technical support, and data delivery environment

·         Knowledge and scripting capabilities in support of an Oracle PL/SQL environment

·         Demonstrated experience with data extractions and visualizations (SSRS)

·         Experience supporting the workflow of applications and data integration (FTP/SFTP, API, REST)

·         Ability to perform, thoroughly document, and communicate outcomes of root cause analysis

·         Working knowledge of analytical tools and methodologies for critical thinking and problem solving

·         Ability to quickly understand the relevance of data to business needs and processes

·         Experience supporting Microsoft technology stack (C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, etc.)

·         Working familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools, techniques, and methodologies

·         Basic understanding of ITIL framework and industry-standard processes
